GaleForce CRM Integrates with Via Binary – Providing Easy Access to Client Portfolio Data
GaleForce CRM for Financial Services integrates with Via Binary's Open Portfolio Warehouse solution to provide Savant Capital with quick access to client portfolio data – directly from the CRM system
VANCOUVER – August 15, 2009 – GaleForce Solutions today announced that its CRM solution for financial services now integrates with Via Binary's Open Portfolio Warehouse system. This joint solution allows investment management organizations to access client portfolio data without leaving the CRM.
Top financial services firm Savant Capital Management, an existing GaleForce customer, needed to provide its customer service personnel and advisors with quick access to current client portfolio data. Savant had previously developed a custom application that made client portfolio data reports available from a central server.
However, this solution was only able to provide limited data, even after time-consuming and costly customizations. Ellen Poppen, CFO of Savant Capital, stated: "Internal access to our client's portfolio data is critical to growing our business. More flexible, immediate access to portfolio data was one of our top priorities."
Savant began looking for a data warehouse solution that would synchronize with the company's portfolio management system and provide flexible access for employees to access client portfolio data. It quickly became clear that Via Binary's Open Portfolio Warehouse solution offered a great deal of the required functionality.
Bernie Holtgreive, Via Binary's Co-Founder and Chief Software Architect, explained: "It was apparent to Savant almost immediately that our solution essentially unlocked their valuable portfolio data, allowing them to query the data - without limitations or costly customizations - and to create critical client portfolio reports."
In order to provide its customer service representatives and financial advisors with completely seamless access to this critical information from the CRM, Savant brought Via Binary and GaleForce together. The two companies worked to integrate GaleForce CRM with Open Portfolio Warehouse - allowing users to access client portfolio data directly from the CRM.
