GaleForce Solutions Closes 20 Sales of Financial Services CRM in 2006

Microsoft Gold Certified ISV Software Solutions Partner GaleForce Solutions announced today 20 sales of GaleForce CRM in 2006, signaling renewed interest and investment in customer relationship management solutions in the financial services sector.

The sales include new deployment of version 3.0 of GaleForce CRM for Financial Services, and upgrades from the previous version to existing customers, across the wealth management, investment banking and banking sectors.

“2006 was a banner year for us, following on the heels of 2005 when many industries soured on the experience of evaluating and deploying CRM solutions,” said John Fraissinet, CEO of GaleForce Solutions Inc. “Two things working in our favor – Microsoft’s move in the CRM space with the release of version 3.0 about a year ago, and our role as the go-to partner with deep financial services expertise.

“Few CRM buyers will take the chance on a software vendor lacking that industry focus. We saw that last year, and we’re going to see a lot more of it this year.”

Among customers completing purchases or upgrades of GaleForce CRM for Financial Services in 2006 were financial services organizations across the United States and Canada, including Advent International, Alaron Futures and Options, Athena Investment Services, Baker Avenue Asset Management, Brotherton Investment Consultants, Lane Berry & Co., Lenox Wealth Management, Kevin Kent & Associates, Klingman & Associates, Private Capital Management, Redstone Consulting, Savant Capital Management, and eight organizations wishing to remain unnamed for competitive reasons.

Microsoft is currently completing development of version 4.0 of Dynamic CRM, with the latest release, codename Titan, in prerelease to resellers and business partners. The new version will introduce a new multi-tenant architecture through Dynamics Live hosting service, providing software-as-a-service (SaaS) capabilities as required by the customer, as well as many other new features.

The general release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is slated for the summer of 2007, with version 4.0 of GaleForce CRM for Financial Services to follow soon thereafter.
